Choose colours that suit your or Daddy's style best! 

Make sure you get a sling that's the right size for you.  If it's too short your baby won't be safe and comfortable.  95% of couples need a sling in size 'medium'.  However, if both you and your partner are shorter than 170cm and of very slim build, you should buy a 'small' sling.  Likewise, if you are both very tall, wearing EU clothes sizes 44 (for Mums) and 54 (for Dads) or above, then you should get a 'large' sling.

You can always use any extra length sling to tie the knots differently so that you won't have trailing ends hanging about you.  Don't worry, you'll be sent an instruction book with all the information you need about carrying your baby in different positions and tying the knots accordingly.  It's pretty straight forward but you'll probably want to practice before your first outing with baby!

Your baby can be carried in the sling from newborn right up to the weight of 18kg.  That's roughly the age of 3 - that is, if he or she still wants to be carried in a sling by then!  The weight of your baby will be held easily by the stretchy fabric and evenly distributed about your upper body.
