Safety features:

we only use high quality wooden beads. They are made in Germany from sustainably grown wood.
the beads have rounded edges to prevent your baby's gums from being hurt.
the beads are sweat and saliva resistant although you may notice some wear as your baby massages his or her teething gums on the dummy chain. Please note that this is NOT actually a teething aid or toy!
only child-safe beads are used (following DIN EN 71)
the dummy chain measures no more than 22cm (excl clip) and therefore fulfils safety 'strangulation' regulations DIN EN 12586
the pacifier clip itself has 3 holes for ventilation
the dummy clip can withstand tugging and pulling up to 9kg. Please check the chain each time you use it, though and throw it away if you find it defect or broken!

Please note that your wooden pacifier chain may vary slightly from the one you see here to make sure that it complies with safety regulations! We add more coloured beads for short names and use less non-motive beads for longer names. Have a look at our image gallery for an example of a chain with a long and a short name.
