You want to stop your baby or toddler from hurting herself by falling down the stairs but you don't want to ruin your walls with ugly holes to make sure the stair gate is fixed really securely?  Well, then you need a pressure-fitting safety gate!

The BabyDan pressure safety gate is well-known for its versatility and style.  Due to its unique design it fits safely to doorways and stair cases as well as being easy to assemble.   The gate itself is 80-86cm wide and you can add an extension (included) to bridge a gap of up to 93cm. 

• Should you need to close off an even larger area, you can get 3 additional extensions to stretch an area of up to 120cm. 
• The gate is 75.5cm high, an ergonomically good height to open the triple safety mechanism that operates the gate.  There is a push button handle for extra safety.
• Conveniently, the door can open either way so you don't have to swing the gate open over a steep staircase and risk falling yourself as you hold your baby on your other arm! 
• If you do regularly carry your baby up and down the stairs it may be worth considering buying the grey step plate that turns the tripping hazzard of the bottom gate into a gentle slope.
• The additional extensions, giving your gate a total width of up to 120cm can be bought separately (each extension is 13cm wide) as well as a Y spindle that allows you to mount the safety gate up against a baluster or round pole.  The Y spindle can only be used in conjunction with the extensions, though.
